I’m a Doctor of Occupational Therapy who spent years working inside large hospital systems, watching good people get lost in a process that was supposed to help them. Visits were rushed. Costs piled up. Patients were left dealing with copays, parking fees, and surprise charges they never agreed to. And too often, the care they received was limited by billing codes and insurance rules instead of what they actually needed to heal.

Over time, it became impossible to ignore: the traditional model was built for customers, not patients.

Somewhere along the way, I started asking myself why people were driving across town in bad weather, paying for parking, and sitting in crowded waiting rooms for something that could be done effectively in fifteen minutes online. It didn’t make sense for patients, or for the kind of care I wanted to provide.

Digital Motion Therapy is my response to that. I built this practice to offer care that is transparent, efficient, and genuinely centered on the individual. No unnecessary visits. No barriers because a referral didn’t list a certain body part. No treatment plans shaped by insurance requirements instead of real‑world needs. Just direct access to a specialist who listens, understands, and helps you move in the right direction.

My work is grounded in years of clinical experience, advanced training in hand and upper‑extremity rehabilitation, and a deep understanding of how people actually live, work, and move.

Digital Motion Therapy exists because people deserve care that respects their time, their goals, and their dignity. My mission is simple: to provide the kind of therapy I always wished the healthcare system made easier to find — honest, personalized, and focused on helping you feel and function better in your everyday life.

At the end of the day, I’m just a regular dude who knows a lot about the human body, especially the upper extremity, and cares about doing right by the people who trust me with their recovery. Schedule a visit with me, and let’s get to work.

Testimonials

“I was a wreck when I first visited Tyler. I had so many different problems with my hands, wrists, and forearms that making a fist, holding, or carrying anything was extremely painful. Each visit was like a game of Whack-a-Mole. Tyler was so much more patient and understanding of my issues that I felt more encouragement to not give up than I’ve ever experienced. My pain had been dismissed so many times in the past that I had begun to think that I was making it up. He wouldn’t let me lie to him about how much something hurt or let me push too far past my limits. I am eternally lucky and grateful to have gotten Tyler as my therapist. He made me feel comfortable while helping reduce my pain and making me functional again. Tyler is by far one of the best medical providers I have ever had and is without a doubt the best therapist I have had. I would cross the country to have his treatment if I ever needed therapy again.”

“As an entrepreneur constantly on the go, injuring my hand was a major setback. Tyler was a game-changer. He understood the demands of my lifestyle and provided a customized therapy plan that fit seamlessly into my schedule. His holistic approach, clear explanations, and focus on long-term recovery made all the difference. I appreciated how he treated me like a partner in my own healing process, ensuring I could get back to work quickly and safely. If you’re looking for therapy who is as effective as they are professional, Tyler is the one to call. Highly recommend!”

“After being diagnosed with CRPS, my dominant hand posed so much pain and concern, but Tyler was fantastic with his therapeutic and optimistic approach to my healing. Together, as a team, we forged a path forward despite the long and arduous journey we faced. I’ve come such a long way, without the drugs I couldn’t tolerate, but with the exercises and therapies Tyler reinforced. I’m grateful to Tyler for his encouragement, his kindness, and his knowledge.”

““I’ve never had a provider really listen to me. Not just to my symptoms, but to what I actually said about my condition. Tyler took the time to understand my situation, explain what was going on in a way that made sense. He even remembered the name of my kids. And my dog! He truly is one of a kind.”

“Tyler was an absolute pain in my ass. He encouraged me to do things I didn’t want to do after my surgery. I never thought I was going to get better, so why try. He even called me once when I missed a session to check on me. He didn’t mention the missed visit, he just asked how I was doing. I was just trying to avoid the hard work I knew it would take to get better. I was depressed and didn’t realize how much Tyler helped me until months later. Thanks to Tyler, I really did get better."

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. Digital Motion Therapy is a cash-based service, meaning we do not bill insurance or accept insurance plans.

  • Being cash based allows us to focus entirely on personalized care, not insurance restrictions. This means longer sessions, customized programs, faster access to care, and no surprise bills.

  • While insurance-based therapy may seem less expensive at first, many people still have to meet high deductibles and pay copays, along with indirect costs such as taking time off work, arranging childcare, commuting, and paying for parking. Digital Motion Therapy is cash based, so there are no deductibles, no surprise bills, and care can be done from home on your schedule—helping reduce time away from work or family and often making it more cost-effective overall despite a higher upfront price.

  • We accept major credit and debit cards, and secure online payments.

  • We do not require a doctor’s order or referral to get started. As a cash-based service, you can begin care immediately without waiting for physician approval, insurance authorization, or additional appointments—saving you time, money, and delays in starting your recovery.

  • Digital Motion Therapy is a private‑pay practice and does not participate in Medicare or other government‑based insurance programs. Because of this, clinical occupational therapy services cannot be billed to Medicare, and Medicare beneficiaries are not able to receive OT services from us.

However, Medicare‑eligible clients are welcome to book non‑clinical wellness, fitness, and injury‑prevention sessions, which are not considered occupational therapy and are not covered by Medicare.

If you’re unsure which type of service fits your needs, we can help you determine the appropriate option.
